This RefuSkills app gives the opportunity to document and declare individual skills, competences and certifications.  The RefuSkills app is multilingual and will meet the needs of refugees and other migrants to get a rapid first step competence assessment and declaration for employment or training.  Selected occupations and core work skills are available for assessment.
RefuSkills aggregates Learning Outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills and competences in logical units of a qualifications. It offers Recognition of Prior Learning assessment where each Learning Outcome can be self-assessed.
External assessors can validate the self-assessment and conclude with a consolidated assessment to be linked to the individual’s competence portfolio. After the external assessment the migrant may have a document as a competence passport according to qualification requirements and standards. It may serve as a basis for career guidance and further training – formally in a training institution or in the workplace.
The Arabic option makes it possible to create multilingual versions of qualification requirements. The migrant will use the most relevant language for the self-assessment input, whereas the workplace or school can work in an available parallel language version.
The created output documents will be linked to the Skillsbank database for an automatic production of competence documents as well as the Europass CV extension as a “RefuPass
